About the Role

Beacon Home Services is looking for a highly organized and proactive Fleet & Inventory Manager to take ownership of our fleet operations and truck stock management. In this leadership role, you’ll ensure our field teams have clean, safe, and fully stocked vehicles—and that they’re supported with the tools and parts they need to deliver 5-star service every day.

You will work closely with our in-house inventory vendor to ensure purchase orders are managed properly, but your primary focus will be truck inventory accuracy, vehicle oversight, and supporting field readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management & Vehicle Readiness

  • Oversee all vehicle records, maintenance, inspections, and compliance using FleetWave, Webfleet, and Fleetmatics
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, wraps, roadside needs, and GPS tracking
  • Maintain a high standard of truck cleanliness, organization, and safety

Truck Stock Oversight & Vendor Collaboration

  • Manage and track truck inventory using PLY software and collaborate with our in-house inventory vendor for all purchase order processing
  • Conduct truck inventory cycle counts, track usage patterns, and ensure proper bin organization and replenishment
  • Confirm that each technician’s truck is fully stocked and ready before dispatch

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked warehouse
  • Oversee staging and pulling of materials for scheduled jobs
  • Ensure supplies, deliveries, and daily resets are managed with discipline and pride

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor the warehouse team, including the parts runner
  • Partner with dispatchers, coordinators, and leadership to support field operations
  • Create a culture of accountability and efficiency—no wasted time, no missed details

New Hire Onboarding & Safety

  • Deliver onboarding for new field techs on truck expectations, inventory protocols, and tool use
  • Lead safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety and operational SOPs

What You Bring

  • Experience in a residential service company or supply house (plumbing, HVAC, or electrical)
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems (PLY preferred) and fleet management software
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and physically capable of lifting and organizing materials
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $65,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives tied to material cost reduction goals
  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, with a 6:00 AM start time to support field operations
  • Total Compensation Potential: Up to $85,000 annually with base salary and earned incentives

Benefits Include:

  • Medical insurance
  • Life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Company-issued uniform
  • Paid holidays and vacation time
  • Access to industry training and career development opportunities

If you take pride in clean trucks, organized warehouses, and efficient systems that keep field teams running smoothly, we’d love to meet you.  Apply today and help us raise the standard in home service excellence.
